Website split

From openSUSE

This is a proposal to possibly split the openSUSE website into two different websites. The focal point of the whole idea is that openSUSE.org has become too cluttered and stores a lot of information that our basic users don't need, and only clogs up the "tubes", so to speak.

Note: My idea is not intended as a competetor to Rlihm's mockups, but instead to complement them.

What I would like to do is put the downloading pages, the communication pages, the bug reporting areas, basically anything a normal computer user (think your parents or grandparents) wouldn't want to see if they are searching for the SUSE SBD to fix a problem, on openSUSE.org. Right now so much info is scattered throughout the wiki that is hard to find information.

Then we can put a better product information area, support (including numbers for those who buy the product), the SUSE SDB (But, maybe we could keep editing part on .org), and of course we could still link to here (maybe, like say "Found a bug? Visit our community website, openSUSE.org to find out how to report it!") on openSUSE.com

Also, link back here to download the distro, but also give other options under the Get It! area, like "buy boxed", "download", "other options" at .com.

It's just an idea, and I think it will help new users to openSUSE.

I'm going to make basic GIMP mockups of the proposed openSUSE.com, if anyone wants to help with that, look in my talk page.
