VirtualBox is a virtualization product made by Sun (formerly InnoTek Germany) for 32-bit guest operating systems. VirtualBox can be used on 32-bit or 64-bit Intel and AMD CPUs. It became free for evaluation and personal use in January of 2007. It comes in two versions:
- Open source edition named VirtualBox OSE
- Closed source edition, distributed as a binary file
