Quick User Guide

The File List

Filtering

  • It is possible to filter the list by Status, Project and User (assigned) using the Filters at the top of the list. Just click on any of them.

Sorting

  • The list can be sorted file filename by clicking on the title 'File' of the list header.

Refreshing

  • To refresh the list, click on the project name at the top of the list.

History

  • The icon Image:poat_history.png will show a list with the history of the selected file.

SVN History

  • Clicking on the icon Image:poat_svn.gif open a new window with the SVN file revisions at Novell repository.

Download the File

  • You can download the last revision of the .po file. Just click on the file name.

Change the file status

  • The status indicator icons are clickable. It will open a inner window where you can change the status (by using the select box) and enter a comment.

What the colored icons mean

The colored blinking icons are simply indicators to identified the status of the file in the SVN based on the file statistics.

  • A blinking red icon, means that the file has untranslated messages.
  • A blinking yellow icon, means that the file has fuzzy messages.
  • A static green icon, means that the file doesn't have untranslated or fuzzy messages.

File Upload

Users without write permissions to the SVN can upload a package of .po files (.tar.gz or .tar) using this tool. The package can only contains .po files, without directories. After the file is uploaded it will be checked for valid headers and send it to the team coordinator as attachment by mail. The file status will be updated to identify it's condition.


After the files are commited, the coordinator (or a granted user) should go to the menu option Waiting commit, mark the commited package and save the changes.

The status of each file could be determined automatically based on the last status (assigned, proofreading) or manually (for all the files in the package) using the select box.

The option 'Waiting commit is only available if the user has the right permissions.
