Geeko recordMyDesktop is a command-line screen recording program that records screen capture to a file.

Requirements

A default install of OpenSuSE 11.0/11.1 should be enough.

Installing recordMyDesktop

Goto http://packman.links2linux.org/package/recordmydesktop to download and install recordMyDesktop via the Packman site.

HOWTO Guide

Step 1

Open a terminal window and type:

recordmydesktop

Step 2

Press CTRL+C to stop the recording when you're done, recordMyDesktop will then create an Ogg Vobis video file named out.ogv.
