Hi Skyrun,
Welcome to openSUSE wiki.
It seems that there is a better way. See translation page for links to help texts. I guess language code is hy, so you can translate welcome page as HY-Welcome to openSUSE.org. When you translate templates than you can prefix actual title which is in curly braces {{ }}. The template title will be Template:HY-name_of_template , but that will be automatically generated from name in curly braces. I looked as example on Download page and there is no need to translate all templates. The Template:ReleasesTable will be {{HY-ReleasesTable}} and title of the page will be Template:HY-ReleasesTable --Rajko M 03:02, 1 May 2008 (UTC)
