From openSUSE
Hey there, I saw your comment on my User_talk page, back in January this year. I have been away from my computer for more than a year, but now that I'm back I need to reinstall openSuSE in the hopes that it will be faster and I will make use and update my installation guide. When I'm finished, I may try and give it a better place within the openSuSE wiki. I couldn't even find my page in the documentation overview ;). I'll get back to you if everything goes according to plan....
Greetings,

A question,
Am I permitted to just go in and tidy up your English pages? :-) While your English is a bit rough, it is far better than my minimal comand of German or Spanish, much less French.
I strongly support your efforts to organize the categories here, and would like to help. I've run your French proposal thru Babelfish, and it looks pretty good as far as I can tell. Unfortunately Babelfish doesn't know Linux, much less SUSE.
It might be useful to start with just a list of the top level categories, with definitions. The goal would be for a limited, understandable and comprehensive set.

Sure go ahead...
The document is work in progress..
The headings are my original organizational tool. At the moment (4th pass), I've got as far are requirements...
But I'm totaly new to opensuse, so I didn't even find your talk.... Instead looked up your email out of the mailling list and sent you an email directly...
(wonder if this will get to you)
Like I said in the email I often need people to review my work as I can loose people in logic that only I understand.....
Jerry
don't worry about that...jdd
Hi Jean, Apropos SLICK,
unlike original that was defined with goal that was far to large for the team, I would like to see something that is installable Knoppix like micro sized SUSE with old computers in mind. This way will solve problem that many users have:"They don't want to damage the newest machine, and on good old computer the newest SUSE is too slow". How to make such one CD distro should not be rocket science and take forever as there is a lot of examples out there. You mentioned one, the DSL. I was amazed how much is on it in just 50 MB. --Rajko M 18:40, 17 June 2006 (UTC)
