Welcome to openSUSE Gongalov71,

your interest in translation is welcome, but you may need to look in Translation article to find how translation works. It is not as simple as to translate existing articles and they will by magic appear in some other language wiki. If you need more help please leave the message on my message page and I'll be back here as soon as possible.

Done with BG-Welcome to openSUSE.org. Created BG-Download and corrected links. There are templates too. They may be tricky, because BG- comes after Template: and before actual title. Original that you have to copy to template is the same name without BG- . I hope that this 2 articles as examples would be enough as start help.

Titles of articles that you want to translate must begin with BG- and than English original name, as long as they are here on en.opensuse.org. Later it will be used translated name that you have to provide in separate file to opensuse guys.

That is the reason to subscribe to opensuse-wiki mail group. You have to announce intention to translate en.opensuse.org to Bulgarian language and keep contact with opensuse guy that will contact you. --Rajko M 04:36, 22 May 2007 (UTC)

I found translated today one template that is included in many English pages.

Try to limit number of pages to required minimum. Later when you have BG wiki you will have easier job to translate because there will be no need to write BG-<English name> for every translated page.

If you want to translate links than it can be easier this way:

• Links to pages that you don't need to translate now don't translate, later on BG wiki it will be easier to find them as they will be red (missing).
• Links to pages that you have to translate mark with BG- they will become red if page doesn't exist and you know that you have to translate the page.
• Links that have form [[Some page | Some other words]] translate only "Some other words" part. Later on BG wiki it will be easy to find them as they will be red (missing).

Also please add to each page this text:

[[Category:Translation]]

that will group them on that category page and it will be easy to see what is translated and what not.

Please announce translation on opensuse-wiki@opensuse.org mail list. It will speed up later process.
