From openSUSE
You can not post articles that you don't have copyright for onto openSUSE.org, including free and gpl licensed ones as Novell makes claims over user submissions that are not compatible with most licences.
I have raised this issue with openSUSE, and was even promised a change, but as yet Novell still claims rights see this correspondence: User:Pflodo/Open_Letter_to_OpenSUSE_&_Novell

According to legal, right on this site, rights are reserved as noted under the GFDL, which works a little differently that the GPL. All materials on wikipedia have the same license.
"Permission is granted to copy, distribute and/or modify this document under the terms of the GNU Free Documentation License"
As the Debian maintainers pointed out, the GFDL isn't really free as in freedom, due to the specifics of the license, but it is re-distributable. The copyright notice at the bottom refers directly to the legal page granting the GFDL - I made sure to check a while back.
I'm not seeing the issue... --CuCullin 09:21, 29 Jan 2006 (MST)
