I'm an electronics engineer living and working near Oxford, England. I've been a SuSE user since v5.3 and have used only Linux at home for several years. As well as OpenSuSE on the main machines, I use Smoothwall-3 for my firewall / DHCP / DNS server box and DSLinux on a 486 based touch panel (OpenSuSE just won't run in 24M of RAM!)
My main contribution to OpenSuSE is to help with alpha and beta testing, particularly on older hardware - the heap ranges at present from a 1995 Toshiba laptop (P133) through AMD K6-2/500 desktop to an AMD 2400 machine and a 350 MHz PPC based iMAC. Guest machines are often 'borrowed' at work to help widen the test base.
I can be contacted using richard_MQ [at] opensuse [dot] org
Have a lot of fun!
