Currently I'm working on my thesis -- "Scripting in Common Information Model" (besides my regular job at SUSE). It will enable you to write CIM clients in python really easy (you will have a real python class representing the CIM class you are trying to work with; you will be able to generate documentation for these CIM/python classes, etc). Talk I presented on the YaST workshop in SUSE -- Media:powerCIM.odp.
