The Way to openSUSE:

for about 7 years, i worked in a Callcenter in a Project for technical Support for Microsoft Windows OS and Software in different companys. One day a College installed SuSE Linux Pro. 7.2 on a Testmachine, but nobody knows it. But the problem was, that we doesn`t knew how to boot our Test Windows up, so every time was SuSE there, until this college made a change in the Bootloader :-) So I've made a little Linux study at my company, an my first kontact with Suse was the shell on a SuSE Server to learn shell commands. I was so interested about this OS, so i bought it and installed it on my PC at home. Until that time i used openSUSE till yet. I have no Windows on any PC's at home now for 6 years, just a Notebook with openSUSE 11.1 with KDE 4.3.2 now. My technical Skills about openSUSE is Learning by Doing.

For the openSUSE-Project:

I'm helping other users in Forums: Linuxclub.de, opensuse-forum.de, suseusers.de or on the Mailinglists opensuse-de@opensuse.org, Wiki, Weekly News or in IRC. I also tell everybody who I know about openSUSE and the Project and show them on my openSUSE 11.2 KDE Live USB stick.

My Job:

i'm working at home as Independent Herbalife-Distributor and Family-Manager for my two children. So if I have time, i spend it to thehelp openSUSE-Project.
