I've been a Unix user since the early '80's, a Unix admin since SunOS 3.0 was new, a Linux user since 0.95.x or thereabouts and a Minix user before that. I'm a developer, most proficient in C, perl, java, and bash. As you can see from my username, I work for a large aerospace company that used to be based in Seattle.

I currently run OpenSuSE 10.0 on my work laptop. My current work interest is the modeling of access control policies using Eclipse and EMF. Other interests include 3D terrain modeling and photography.
