Notification of updates
The notification of updates depends on the settings. There is either no user interaction, or a notification of available updates with an icon in the notification area and a notification-bubble.

Presentation of updates
The default view of Vista's update presentation shows a summary of updates, seperated by importance as it apears. You're then allowed to either start the update process by clicking "Install updates", or to view update details by clicking "View available updates".

Notification of restart
Dialog after finished update notifies about a needed restart.

Security
System asks for confirmation, whether the action was initiated by the user. No authentication present.
