USE CASE #2 Creating new partitions

Goal in Context: Christian buys an additional hard disc and wants to use it for openSUSE and MS Windows data
Scope & Level: Partitioner in openSUSE
Preconditions: Christian has plugged in the additional hard disc correctly and found the partitoning module.
Success End Condition: 100 GB available for openSUSE, 100 GB available for MS Windows XP, Failed End Condition, Christian could not format the hard disc.
Trigger: Opening partition module
Description:

• Starting partitioner
• Identifying available information (hdd, partitions)
• Identifying new available hard disc
• Select new available hard disc
• Create one partition for openSUSE
• Choose file system for this partition
• Create one partition for MS Windows
• Choose file system for this partition
• Format new available hard disc
• Closing partitioner
