Shared installation goals
The #1 goal of anyone using the installation software is to have a functional and useful computer (with SUSE installed) when the installation is complete.
[edit]
Installation Scenarios
- Desktop installation
- Empty hard drive
- Adding SUSE as an additional operating system
- Windows on the entire drive is the most typical case
- Install SUSE as a server
- Unattended installations

Brainstorming
- Martin's ideas & mockups ("pimp my installer")
- Setting systemproperties (Timezone, Users etc.) during the copy-process on harddrive(s) (multitasking)
- Show hints (like them on after-startup in KDE) during the copy-process (, specially for newbies and OS-changer) like: "Do you know...: with samba you can connect your SuSE-PC with other Windows PC's. For more information click here..."
- What's about to play "light" games like chess, sodoku and cardgames during the copy-process in a window??? To don't let you feel the real time for the installation...
