Usenet (Групи новин)

Usenet працює схожим на списки листування чином. Він складається із груп новин(newsgroups) на які можна підписатися за допомогою спеціального ПЗ, наприклад, за допомогою KNode. Ви підключаєтеся до usenet-сервера і ваш клієнт дістає з нього список груп, на які можна підписатися. Як налаштувати клієнт usenet.

Usenet-ом можна користуватися токож за допомогою спеціальних сайтів, таких як Google groups, основним достоїнством якого є пошук. Однак такі сайти можуть просити грошей, або мати певні недоліки.
