Hi

Might be that you have it or parts but what i would like to see is a pptp client that would enable me to connect to windows machines . Once having the pptp tunnel then i need an RDP connection to run terminal services to those windows machine machines .


Like it or not, we would still need to support lots of Windows machine although we work on it... i believe that having these capabilities i would be able to move entirely to Linux desktp . P.s I know that RDP emulation exists but not a 26 Bit version which limits the color pallete to 256 colors

I agree that PPTP configuration should be easier, it is however all possible today, pptpclient is part of the distribution, and can even be configured through yast.
For Terminal Services, the tsclient package, is nearly identical to the current Microsoft mstsc.exe (Remote Desktop Client), there is no restriction in colour depth.
