Talk:Skype HOWTO
From openSUSE
An idea to add the possibility that you can install the Skype package just by clicking on it and let YaST do all the work?
openSUSE 10.3 64bit
To make skype work with 64bit openSUSE 10.3, you need to install the following packages with yast :
libqt4-32bit libqt4-x11-32bit libqt4-dbus-1-32bit libsigc++2-32bit --Elvigia 08:12, 4 October 2007 (UTC)
openSuSE 10.2 64bit
There is no 32bit version of libqt4. How to compile that from a source package? Possible workaround could be to use the static tar.bz2. Proofy 12:02, 21 November 2007 (UTC)
openSuSE 10.2 64bit
Some mentioned there are the 32bit rpms under /distribution/10.3/repo/oss/suse/
in
download.opensuse.org
Add this link in Software repository under Yast and install these rpm in "Install software"
and the skype worked for my 10.3 64bit using the rpm -Uvh ./skyperpm.rpm command
