smbfs in 10.2
There should be some documentation, both in the installed docs and here on the wiki, that smbfs is no longer natively supported in 10.2. You can browse shares, but mounting them with smbfs is impossible without installing software outside of the distribution and/or recompiling the kernel (at least as far as I have been able to deduce). And while you can mount a samba share with cifs that works less than ideally for a working directory. --Gilant 20:41, 23 March 2007 (UTC)
