SUSE SOLE OS INSTRUCTIONS ON MACBOOK 2.1 1-Install suse on clean hardrive 2-Reboot with leopard osx install disk once inside OSX install, click utilities and then choose terminal type "diskutil list" to identify your suse partition 3-Bless the suse partition with this command " bless -device /dev/disk0s2 -setboot -legacy -verbose " 4-Reboot remove the osx install disk reboot again and it will boot solo wa-la you have a linux macbook!
There will be a list of maybe 4 different partitions if you get the wrong partition try till it works iv done it it works!I'm on the Linux macbook now laying down these instructions.
One thing iv found that if you have a spare hardisk with leopard installed and want to run leopard the only things you have to do make sure and install rEFIt on the leopard and make sure it works on the leopard hardrive. when you are ready to run leopard. On boot up make sure and hold down the option key so the drive shows up. and going back to suse again takes me under 10 minutes to set up again and vise verse
