I have a 64bit Intel computer with a SATA 320GB Hard Drive and I can not boot the system without doing some changes in the GRUB menu.list. I have to add a phrase to the boot options that tell the system that /dev/sba1 is the root directory. If I change the menu.list using the GRUB program I get errors. Has anyone installed a SATA Hard Drive and how did they get around the boot process.
