An improvement on security?

The Gnome Keyring Manager Application is not found in gnome-keyring.rpm with 13.1 ~/.gnome*/keyring* no longer exists with 13.1 Thus I cannot follow the advice given. I finally typed my login password and it succeeded. Not sure how that improves security. --Jnweiger (talk) 21:14, 4 February 2014 (UTC)


I am a bit in a doubt if the "solution" presented since http://en.opensuse.org/index.php?title=GNOME_Keyring&oldid=7281 (20 May 2010) on this wikipage will improve the security of the users and so if this should be presented like it is. I guess an openSUSE adapted version of the solution on http://live.gnome.org/GnomeKeyring/Pam would be better. --Pistazienfresser 14:53, 14 December 2010 (MST)
