From openSUSE

Since X, X Version 11 and X Window System are trademarks (AFAIK currently of the OpenGroup) a little caution is necessary when referring to this software. E.g. see [1]

The X Consortium requests that the following names be used when referring to this software:

X

X Window System

X Version 11

X Window System, Version 11

X11

X Window System is a trademark of X Consortium, Inc.''

"XWindows" is not a proper reference.

hda5 is not the extended partition

One of the max 4 partitions can be an extended partition and is indicated as such. It can be any of the 4 possible partitions, but only one. It is not necessary to have 4 partitions. A logical partition always starts at hda5. So in the two tables. hda5 should be hda3 and the Filesystem type should be indicated as extended partition. hda6-... should be hda5-... Made the changes myself. --Fdekruijf 15:50, 9 June 2007 (UTC)

Is opensuse 'free' software?

This article discusses some basic concepts, including the term 'free.' It identifies Linux as 'free' but not opensuse. Is opensuse 'free' software? Felipe1982 19:35, 27 May 2007 (UTC)

It certainly is; free as in free to use, free to change and free to distribute.--Fdekruijf 15:49, 9 June 2007 (UTC)
