Talk:Bugs:Suspend Failure
From openSUSE
After reading this, I was curious.
I notice that on beta 2, the shutdown kde screen has a suspend button (sorry, I have french system, so it's "mise en veille") - no option (disk or ram)
having no particular task on, I clic on it. all seemed to go well, some error messages near the end, but this didn't stop the process. the computer (not a laptop, an usual tower) shutdown.
but when rebooting, I had a normal reboot.
Of course, I have no special partition (and 500Mb ram).
don't say it's a bug (beta 2, anyway, not 3), but should the button be here is the system can't do it? jdd 12:15, 24 Aug 2005 (MDT)
