The main parts represent the available tabs in the editor, the content below shows the functions.
The standard workflow is following:
- Check and adjust repositories and select software
- Adjust the available parts of the system configuration and user settings
- Add overlay files
- This files will be added to the appliance in the last build step and they will overwrite the template defaults
- Create your build
- Test the build in the testdrive
- The running testdrive allows you to change the configuration online.
- Files that are different to the stored image will be displayed in the testdrive tab "Modified files"
- You can move the changed files to the "Overlay files" tab with a few clicks
- Start a new build and your changes will be implemented via the new overlay files during the appliance creation
- Start a new test in the testdrive
