SDB:Problem with boot floppies creation in openSUSE 10.2
From openSUSE
Situation
You want to create openSUSE boot floppies. You put floppy disk into drive, open YAST->System, then you click on 'Boot or Rescue Floppy', then select 'standard boot floppy'. You expect everything will be fine, however it's asking you for CD 1, you try CD1/DVD (depending how did you install your openSUSE) but it always fails. When you will go into details of the error message you see: File /boot/rescue/floppy not found on media: http://.....
Procedure
OpenSUSE although is correctly asking for installation CD/DVD, doesn't check it, instead it's looking for the first enabled entry in 'Installation Source'. In order to create this boot floppy just go in YAST->Software into 'Installation Source' and disable all installation sources, which are before this one regarding your CD/DVD, in order to do it just higlight each such an installation source and then in the right down corner clik on 'Source Settings'->'Enable or Disable', you should notice the effect in Status column. After you will apply your changes you should be able to create boot floppies. After you will create them, remember about reenabling you disabled installation sources.
