SDB:Loading Kernel Modules in linuxrc

Symptom

The attempt to load kernel modules manually in linuxrc in SUSE Linux version 9.1 fails if additional module parameters are entered.

Solution

When prompted to insert the parameters for "module", enter the module parameters preceded by a blank. For example:

[Space]io=0x300 irq=5

Any (error) messages delivered by the system when loading the module can be viewed on console 3 ([CTRL]+[ALT]+[F3]) and console 4 ([CTRL]+[ALT]+[F4]).
