SDB:Installation hangs at "NET: Registered Protocol Family 2"

Situation
After installation startup, you can see system is being loaded but before it reaches YAST installation configuration screen it hangs. The last message you can see is:
NET: Registered Protocol Family 2

Procedure
Please highlight the installation type you want to perform, then as the boot option please type:
maxcpus=0
and confirm with 'Enter' key.
