SDB:Input Plug-in "CD Audio Player" Does Not Work with xmms

Symptom

When you use the input plug-in CD Audio Player with xmms, the titles from the audio CD are not displayed in the directory defined for this plug-in.

Cause

There is a conflict between this plug-in and subfs, which is responsible for the automatic mounting of removable media for SUSE LINUX 9.1 and later versions.

Solution

Configure a different directory for this input plug-in. The directory must not conflict with any of the mount points defined as subfs in the system-wide configuration file /etc/fstab.
