Symptom
When trying to connect to the Internet via the provider 1&1 under Linux, your connection ID is rejected.

Cause
The Internet connection of the ISP 1&1.

Solution
Your user ID must include the prefix "1und1/".

Procedure
If your user ID for the connection reads, for example, "SUSE-User", enter "1und1/SUSE-User" when setting up an Internet connection under Linux.
