SDB:CUPS - No Printout on the XP Client

Situation
You want to use a printer connected to a Windows XP/2000 machine. The share can be accessed without specifying any user or password. Your print system is CUPS.
When you try to print a test page, the following error message is displayed:
Unable to connect to SAMBA host, will retry in 60 seconds...: Success
Moreover, the following error message appears in the CUPS log file /var/log/cups/error_log:
SMB tree connect failed: NT_STATUS_ACCESS_DENIED

Cause
A mandatory user account is missing on the Windows PC.

Solution
Set up a user on the Windows PC. Subsequently, you should be able to print with this user ID.
