SDB:9.1: Error When Changing or Adding an ISDN Configuration

Symptom

You want to add an ISP to the ISDN configuration or change the configuration of an existing provider. However, the configuration files remain unchanged after saving the changes.

Cause

When only provider data is changed or added, no tags regarding data modification are set in the YaST ISDN module.

Solution

Restart the same configuration and edit the interface (press Edit in the lower window then select the interface). It is not necessary to change anything. Simply confirm every step with Next. Then click Finish so the relevant files are saved.
