From openSUSE

I've been playing with several concepts. The first concept demonstrates some washed out, subdued greens. It may be too much green everywhere. I like the initial concept here, though the background colors likely need to change. --Enderandrew Talk - Contributions

This is a second concept. It uses the "SUSE" greens, though slighly subdued. I tried using a dropper tool and just grabbing the greens from the wiki, and from the installer. The installer turned out very bright. This pallet was very close to the wiki. One thing I've been going back and forth on is using a cream/yellow window background. It is softer than white, but perhaps a bit exaggerated in these concepts. I'd likely consider taking the saturation from 38 and cutting it in half to 19. Then it looks much closer to white. I'm curious what people think about an off-white window background.

I have tons of other concept images I made. I can upload style settings, taskbar settings, colors, etc, but I need to know what people think and what direction to lean. If people tell me which type they prefer, and what changes they'd like to see, then I can upload specific theme files.

The icon set I'm using here is a temporary hodge-podge mix of icons from various open icon sets I found on kde-look.org. I intend to play around with the icon theme some more, and I'll gladly upload that as well.

This is my newest concept. I just toned down the standard background color.

I read in the Weekly News/33 that you are searching ideas for the 11.1 artwork, so here's mine: interface with mainly red and black, maybe some green. well, it's not the "openSUSE green/white", but something new. Here's a quick wallpaper-concept to convey my idea. I'm no GUI-desinger, so somebody else would have to do it. Just wanted to express my idea. --Harald_J Talk - Contributions
