tagline: From openSUSE
I hope the release notes will include detailed instructions on how to upgrade from a running 11.2 system.
Quick Start and User Guide Missing
ANY link to ANY documentation of 11.3 cannot be found in either Novell.com or OpenSuse.org nor any Wiki Page. There are many links to quick start guide and the full user guide - but this information just does NOT exist.
I would suggest you remove all the links until to both the User Guide and Quick Start Guide until such documentation exists. " Error 404 Not Found " that comes from Novell.com documentation - is seriously NOT a good look.
Also for ANY new user that wants to try Suse Lunix has to hunt to find ANY documentation. Serious thought needs to be given to place 'Download User Guide' and 'Download Quick Start Guide' NEXT TO THE SOFTWARE DOWNLOAD.
EVERY NEW OR COLD USER THAT WANTS TO TRY SUSE LINUX HAS NO IDEA WHAT TO DO WITH THE SOFTWARE DOWNLOAD ONCE COMPLETED. Just to search for the Documentation is complex.
Just put a graphic of Download User Guide AND Download Quick Start Guide NEXT to the software download links or better still include the full documentation of the DVD Download!
Allow to quote myself from Talk:Main Page
It is true that there is lack of this pages. I'm currently working on that, since I noticed it myself a bit to late. I wanted to start on this 2 days ago, but i n order to obtain some screen shots I started installing myself. This gave me some issues (because I tried new/stupid things) and put me out of the running for the last 2 days. Read: no bootable computer. So I apologize.
I think due to the wiki transfer just before the release, this pages where more or less forgotten. Next release I hope we do better ;) --Muhlemmer 19:00, 20 July 2010 (UTC)
How about making it easier to find the repositories?
