(Redirected from OpenSUSE Wiki Project)

Welcome to the openSUSE Wiki Team page !

Anybody with a user account can edit the wiki, and be a wiki editor. However, few of them help, contribute and maintain the wiki on almost daily basis, they are the Wiki Team. If you want to become a member of the team, you should subscribe to the openSUSE-wiki mailing list, that is used to communicate ideas and plans, and take part in discussion. You can also join us on IRC: #opensuse-wiki, or leave a short message on our Message Board.

Current Wiki Team Tasks

These are now listed on the general openSUSE Project Tasks page.

Maintenance tasks

These tasks are always in need of attention

  • Outdated PagesPages that need some update to present current situation properly.
  • Obsolete PagesPages that are not needed anymore because they describe obsolete stuff.
  • Pages to CleanupPages that don't currently meet our high standard of excellence.
  • Lonely Pages These are pages are not linked anywhere, and thus inaccessible without the use of the search engine.
  • Wanted Pages These pages don't exist, but there are two or more links to them. In other words, if you want to write article that people need check this list first.
  • Categories categories without description, by default red colored links

Contributor documentation cleanup

One of the openSUSE Boosters_Team tasks is to reorganize and improve contributor documentation on the openSUSE wiki. Please put your comments and ideas to Documentation_cleanup.
