OpenSUSE Testing Core Team/Subteams

To test more efficiently, the Testing Core Team is organised into sub-teams through this page. At present there are broadly seven sub-teams focusing on KDE, Gnome, Wireless networking, Sound, YaST and Zypper, Distribution Installation and LAMP. This page lists each sub-team, its objective and the members in it.

If you are a member of the Testing Core Team please add yourself to one or more sub-teams of your choice.

Testing objectives

    • Wireless connectivity with built-in (open-source) drivers using WEP, WPA, WPA2 and open encryption
    • Wireless connectivity with ifup and NetworkManager methods - both Gnome and KDE
    • Ease of installation of proprietary drivers
    • Bluetooth connections

    • Software installation stack with special emphasis on new done/candidate features (zypper, Yast modules related to software installation)

    • Various Yast interfaces (qt, gtk and ncurses)
