| Francis Giannaros | A big project like openSUSE really needs a better news feed I think. The -announce list is good for bigger announcements, but the items for example on the main page have to be manually added, it's a little messy; a wiki page is not ideal for this at all. There was a wish filed about this years ago, but nothing new yet. All the same would go for a web Calender application (upcoming events etc); using external stuff like Google's isn't so great at all. |
| CyberOrg | I would like all the packages required to compile compiz plugins on the DVD, right now we have to fetch some missing packages from ftp. I can provide list of devel packages required. Another thing is KIWI, I just gave it a try and some packages like squashfs were not part of 10.3Alpha2 DVD, so had to fetch from ftp too. Should Imake enhancement bug report on bugzilla? |
| CzP | During FOSDEM 2006 I was told, that PPC should be added to the BuildService in Q3 2006. It's Q2 2007 now. Any developments in this direction? There are many interesting packages in the BuildService... |
