Those who are not present raise their hands. 18:20 < AJaeger> Beineri: Yes, numbers match up again. 18:20 < AJaeger> Ok, then next topic "Communication / Events " 18:21 < AJaeger> Martin is not here either. 18:21 < AJaeger> Does anybody like to bring anything up? 18:21 < bgerber> what about status distribution? 18:21 < AJaeger> bgerber: Let's handle it the same way -coolo is not awake. Anything you like to bring up? 18:21 < bgerber> 11 alpha 2+ 18:22 < AJaeger> bgerber: "+" stands for an internal version. And it's "11.0" not just "11" ;-) 18:22 < _Marcus__> the way i see it misused, everyone will say 11 :/ 18:22 < AJaeger> bgerber: I don't know the status of 2+ - haven't seen it yet. 18:23 < bgerber> ok, I just have some problems with factory at the moment. 18:23 < AJaeger> bgerber: Any specific problems? 18:23 < dirk> iirc 2+ is blocked by a yast crash during installation (I heard something like that) 18:23 < AJaeger> coolo worked hard to get factory working again. 18:23 < bgerber> General from bug list should be solved with update 18:24 < bgerber> wondering on update 18:24 < bgerber> that is what I heard as well. 18:25 < vuntz> dirk: the crash has been fixed, iirc 18:26 < bgerber> From what I can tell we are waiting on the update to be synced 18:28 * AJaeger is a bit frustrated that too many people miss the meeting today :-( 18:29 < dirk> vuntz: indeed, just read that in the opensuse-factory status report 18:29 < dirk> I think that one covers everything 18:29 < dirk> ..except for the 2+ release date 18:29 < AJaeger> bgerber: Next sync should happen soon - we just need to figure out who did this: 18:29 < AJaeger> -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 0 2106-02-07 06:28 newestfile 18:29 <@Beineri> lol 18:30 < cboltz> Please save all sources from this point in time ;-) 18:31 < AJaeger> Ok, so let's move on to general Q & A - if it makes sense today without adrian, martin, zonker, coolo etc. 18:31 < AJaeger> there're no questions on the wiki - so let me open this up directly here. 18:31 <@Beineri> does that mean the future of openSUSE is assured until 2106? :-) 18:32 < _Marcus_> - the opensuse-de list had a thread where people think that we fix not enough bugs in 10.3 ... but I think I got that realigned a bit ;) 18:32 < AJaeger> Beineri: Rudi knows to use touch 18:32 < bgerber> maybe 18:32 <@Beineri> AJaeger: are you trying to fix the syncing NOW? 18:33 < AJaeger> Beineri: Just asked Rudi ;-) 18:34 < AJaeger> bgerber: What do you mean? Should we fix more bugs? 18:34 < bgerber> That was _Marcus_ 18:35 < bgerber> I was refering to the date and openSUSE in 2106 18:35 < [daemon]> AJaeger: we need more mobile devices and UMTS :) 18:35 < AJaeger> bgerber: I misunderstood your "maybe" perhaps a wee bit. 18:35 < bgerber> My only problem is the repair system. 18:35 < bgerber> for 10.3 18:35 < _Marcus_> AJaeger: the people think wwe should more bugs in 10.3. ;) 18:36 < AJaeger> We have quite a lot of open bugs in 10.3 ;-( 18:36 < cb400f> too bad albertop isn't here :-) 18:36 < _Marcus_> take it just as comment, it was no Q and no A ;) 18:36 < bgerber> I do have a problem with install and upgrade on one system. I have to mount click and unmout to to the install 18:37 < bgerber> where 10.2 just works 18:38 < AJaeger> bgerber: hope you did file a proper bugreport... 18:38 < bgerber> Yes, but it was closed. I gave the instructions. 18:38 < AJaeger> Ok, I think we can conclude the meeting for today. Any objections? 18:38 < bgerber> I guess it was closed because I had a work around 18:39 < AJaeger> bgerber: Send me (aj@suse.de) privately the bug number and let me check it briefly... 18:39 < bgerber> ok a little later I am not where I can look it up. 18:40 < AJaeger> bgerber: no hurry, I need some time as well ;-) 18:40 < bgerber> That is all I have 18:41 < AJaeger> Ok, let's meet again formally in two weeks...
