KMail IMAP client
From openSUSE
The Internet Message Access Protocol lets you access and organize your email on a server instead of your desktop computer. KMail will by default store drafts and sent mail locally, giving you access to these items when not connected to the network. However, this means drafts and sent email is unavailable to you from another client.
The following example presumes that you only have one folder called INBOX on the IMAP server.
- High-light INBOX by right-clicking it in KMail to get a menu.
- Choose New subfolder... and call the new folder Sent
- Repeat 1. and create another folder called Draft
Now that the folders are in place, you must tell KMail to use them.
- Choose Settings from the menubar.
- Choose Configure KMail
- Choose Identity, then click the Edit button
- Choose the Advanced tab.
- Click the blue arrows for the Sent and Drafts folders and choose the new folders you created on the IMAP server.
Click OK and you are done!
