Status Report

• Milestone8 released
• upstream will release 4.3.2 shortly (see topic below)

Bug 540493

• openSUSE Air panel looks too flat and should be changed back to the original. Change too flatness was requested by llunak according to pinheiro
• must be a misunderstanding, maybe wstephenson asked for it (not present for the meeting)
• AI: sort out bnc#540493 somehow (llunak)

KDE:43 repo change communications

• KDE:KDE4:Factory:Desktop will remain on KDE 4.3.1 plus patches until 11.2 is released
• new repository KDE:43 will be created until KDE:KDE4:Factory:Desktop can be used for full development again
• AI: updates about the status of KDE:42 and KDE:43 in en.opensuse.org/KDE/Repositories and opensuse-kde@opensuse.org (done on 2 October, Have prepare backport/community link but made them as comment as real repo doesn't exist yet |tigerfoot|)

KDE:42 repository

• KDE:42 repository contains the latest KDE4.2.x release, but is unmaintained now
• volunteers taking care of it are welcome

Agree policy for adding newer versions than in KKFD to KDE:Backports

• with the introduction of the KDE:43 repository as the temporary development replacement of KDE:KDE4:Factory:Desktop, the rules stay the same except for this change

Firefox KDE integration demo/article

• Milestone8 includes completed Firefox KDE integration
• it would be nice to have a proper announcement for this on news.opensuse.org and dot.kde.org
• if somebody would be interested in doing this, see http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-kde/2009-10/msg00000.html

Are there some important backports for 11.2 already?

• unclear what this topic is supposed to mean
• if there are important backports for 11.2, those should be normally reported as bugs in bugzilla
