Status Report

• 4.3rc1 moved into openSUSE:Factory, but only partial due to rejects, combined with dropping of kde4- tags might cause dependency problems
• 4.3rc2 in KDE4:Factory, but with build failures, synced out though, so dependency problems as well
• 4.4 trunk snapshots beeing built in :UNSTABLE (4.3.60)
• Bille, Seli and dirk at GCDS
• looks like Kopete-yahoo fix doesn't work, needs also backporting to 11.1

"Applications in default KDE installation" summary

• Beineri requested suggestions for to be included applications
• Most suggested mc, not really on topic, but forward to -factory was well received -> added to all images
• yakuake was most suggested, even though still outnumbered by mc
• AI: add yakuake to the image (Beineri)
• OT AI: file bug report about missing rescue tools (cb400f, bitshuffler)
• AI: suggest list what Qt/KDE apps to add to DVD (remur_030)

What to do with Quanta

• no porting progress, requires kdesdk3 and kdeweb3
• suggested solutions:
  • a) drop both kdesdk3 and kdewebdev3, and have them only available in KDE:KDE3 in OBS
  • b) build Quanta without cvsservice plugin/support, drop kdesdk3 (and maybe don't build kde3 versions of klinkstatus etc. on Factory/11.2)
  • c) split out cvsservice from kdesdk3 to keep fully functional quanta
  • d) do nothing - keep booth kdesdk3 and kdewebdev3
• Beineri built b) and it looks functional, if someone needs full working Quanta there still is :KDE3
• AI: drop kdesdk3, build kdewebdev3 without cvsservice (and other kde3 apps) (Beineri)

Remaining kde4- prefixes

• most are dropped
• remaining are mostly non-application ones, kde4-filesystem, kde4-l10n-*, kde4-printer-applet, kde4-webkitpart, ..., better keep the tag
• there are other ones left like kde4-plasma-* etc
• AI: s/kde4-plasm/plasm/g/ package names, rename kde4-konqueror-plugins (Beineri)

Community/Playground in the 1click installs

• people with leftover KDE4:Community/Playground from older targets like KDE:42 will have dependency problems when switching to a more recent KDE Desktop repository
• AI: file new .ymp and do fate request (rabauke)
