idea.opensuse.org
[edit]
Pros
- It is available
- Most of the features we require is already in it
- We have expertise(Garret) required to customize it for us
- It is based on Dokuwiki so has a solid base
[edit]
Cons
- Needs some work to tailor it exactly as we need
- Maintenance may become a bit steep task

General Comments
- I think the only customization needed is when creating the idea. It'd be great to have a wizard like interface instead of having the user manually read through the comments on how to tag the idea etc. --mboman 21:44, 9 October 2007 (UTC)
- What's required as far as maintenance is concerned? --mboman 21:44, 9 October 2007 (UTC)
- A. Removing invalid and unattended feature requests, marking feature request that are completed. There is tagging, but it is not obvious and easy to use, there is no list of all the available tags, Done and done may become two different tags. --CyberOrg 17:30, 11 October 2007 IST
- Cons: no notification on updates on an idea (and: no, the RSS feed isn't really usable) --Christian Boltz 23:43, 15 October 2007 (UTC)
