Errata in the openSUSE 11.1 Documentation

This page provides a list of the bugs and printing errors found in the openSUSE 11.1 documentation.

General and Packaging

The opensuse-manual_en-pdf and opensuse-manual_de-pdf packages are intentionally empty; we use these packages for obsoleting old PDF packages. The PDF flavors of the books are packaged separately as

opensuse-security_en-pdf 

For German versions, if available, replace _en with _de.

These packages are not available on any media (because of the lack of space), but rather from the main repository (OSS). The README file in the repository is misleading. The PDF files are not available unpackaged in the docu directory, but they are offered as regular packages ready to be installed with the YaST software manager.
