Enterprise Information Software

Enterprise Information Software is a generic name for those software, usually web based, that is typically used on an Enterprise. That includes security software (like Nagios, Snort), groupoffice software, network services like email (Zimbra for example), CRM (SugarCRM for example), ERP (Openbravo ERP), etc.

Each software will be typically build as a software appliance in conjunction with the LimeJeos system.

Actually Eis is part of the cocktail.lin.cat project, a project for building software appliances based on openSUSE.
