In compliance with the new "OpenSUSE Trademark Guidelines" we are looking to do some re-branding and other artwork. Status update.

News from our Google Summer of Code projects

A short introduction of the Students and their Mentors would be very welcome.

Selling openSUSE-Education DVDs

Jigish asks for permission to sell openSUSE-Education DVDs in the shopping malls in India. Maybe we should have some generic guidelines for this.

Below is JUST A PROPOSAL:

• Price should be just for compensation for expenses.
• People wanting to sell/provide our ISOs should ask for permission on the mailinglist.
• No further modification of our official released ISO images without asking for permission

The openSUSE-Education Team will act as moderator between the openSUSE-Board and people wanting to sell/provide DVDs - if needed.

OR we could just avoid all this red tape by using different branding.
