Status of openSUSE-Education 1.0

What's the current status of our first release for all distributions?

Targets for openSUSE-Education 2.0

Possible targets - please enhance here or in our Mailinglist:

  • YaST Modules (SquidGuard- and a Generic Education- Module)
  • branch/create own openSUSE-Education branding (Logo, Bootsplash, Background, ...)
  • Live-Media, installation sources - automatic creation of builds via [Build Service]
  • How to work on documentation - we need a script which "dumps" wiki pages into the Lessons for Lizards-Format. Also, we've some problems with the currentl susedoc package/format
  • ..

Google Summer of Code 2009

Google Summer of Code 2009 is official announced. openSUSE want to participate again - the initial wiki page for the Summer of Code 2009 is open.

If we, the openSUSE-Education team, want to participate again like last year we need some ideas. Any suggestions welcome.
