This meeting is meant to discuss the latest developments in and around openSUSE-Education.

Please understand, that we try to discuss as many topics as possible in english. But as many developers are from germany, we also allow comments in native languages. But we can't guarantee that each question in a native language can be answered.

  • Check dependencies of the Education-DVD for 11.0 (all packages should be installable using just the openSUSE 11.0 DVD and no online repository)

  • Server upgrade (http://www.opensuse-education.org/ get's new hardware)
  • Have a look at the whitespace problem in the Applications Template (see Avogadro)
  • Fix sync script to use the rsync.opensuse.org server only
  • Fix package check script, so only the newest package will make it to the repo if more than one package is available (moodle 1.9 vs moodle 1.9.1 as example)

  • create a user page in the openSUSE wiki
  • add himself to the Team wiki page (done :))
  • Bugfixing and Documentation for Easy-LTSP

Education as part of the new Contrib Repository?

Please have a look at the current process about the Contrib repository. All packages in the Education Repository should be possible candidates for this new contrib repo. We need somebody who will drive the integration of our packages....
