Upload your custom crontab files onto /etc/cron.daily, /etc/cron.hourly, /etc/cron.weekly, /etc/cron/monthly. Check that you have the crontab rpm installed. If you want some event to happen in a bigger frequency than hourly, you can run the crontab command on firstboot in order to add a custom cron to the root user.
