Adding the services rpms (like apache or mysql) is not enough. You need to activate them. This can be done by running "insserv servicename" on firstboot. This can be achieved by adding this insserv command to the Firstboot section, at the Scripts option at the Configuration tab.
Let's go to add files now. Go to Adding_Files_in_SUSE_Studio
If you do not want to add any file, let's build the appliance by going to Building_Appliances_in_SUSE_Studio.
