The following are instruction for adding Centre to openSUSE 10.2
After completing the default installation of openSUSE 10.2 and configuring your server to have a static address in your network, you can begin to install Centre.
1. Add the WEB and LAMP service by opening YAST and choosing software management> patterns> WEB and LAMP
2. To get the Centre installation RPM we need to add the Education Server repository. When this is complete, we can change our search filter to "installation sources" and search for "Centre", when found, choosing it and selecting finish will bring up the requirements list
3. Next we need to configure the Apache2 server. We do this by returning to YAST ,selecting Network services and choosing HTTP. Apache2 sees that we have installed PHP5 and will make the necessary adjustments to accommodate us. Then we must tell Apache2 that we would like it start automatically
4. next we test our Apache2 installation. type in the address bar or your favorite browser "http;//127.0.0.1"
